A magical place in the heart of the Andes
Every day begins early at the Post. We feed the animals, light the fire, knead the bread, and prepare to welcome those who come in search of something real.
This is more than a ranch — it’s our home. And when you’re here, you’re part of it.

Our history
We are a genuine gaucho family, molded by the mountains and the rhythms of the earth. For more than 16 years, the Cordón del Plata has been our home — breeding horses, cows, goats, and other livestock, in harmony with the land and the seasons.
It’s not just a tourism project — but a lifestyle. We grew up in the Andes, with traditions passed down through generations. The routes we ride, the food we prepare, and the horses we care for are part of our daily life — not something that is performed, but something that is lived and felt.
Our vision for Don Daniel Ranch has always been straightforward: to offer the Andes the way we’ve experienced them — raw, tranquil, and full of depth. Each ride, each tale, each meal cooked over the fire is an invitation to enter this world — far from the rhythm of the city, and close to the things that truly matter.

Rancho Don Daniel is a family-run mountain ranch located in Valle del Sol, near Vallecitos, Mendoza.
We offer authentic horseback riding and scenic hiking experiences, along with traditional food to enjoy in the Andes.
